How do you get the LCD screen to look like the video on the D90 Thanks Skip

Wandomphoto

How dirty was that view finder lol

curleyduck

when he shows the screen is not of that of a D90. The dial is on the wrong side and there is no lcd screen on top plus the screen is different. If your gonna show how to use a D90 then best you actually use one for the whole video

This may sound like a stupid question, but at 2:10, my LCD screen does not show the aperture size like his, or anything for that matter. It does not pop up if I press the shutter button halfway. Why is that?

take a look at the camera at :16 sec and read the model # off of the camera.
The model # is located on the right hand side of the camera near the top of the camera.
Look specifically for D90.
You may be only listening to this video but since this is a video on youtube, you may have to open your eyes to actually see the model number D90.
If you are still having trouble seeing the model # then click on this link to get further help.
go to Walmart-Vision-Centers and get your eyes tested

Is there a way to change the amount of time the preview stays on screen?

If you look at the top of the camera you’ll see two buttons to the right of the LCD. The lower button is ‘AF’ and the one above is the ‘Advance’ control. Press the advance control button and turn the back dial until you see a symbol that looks like a clock. That is the self timer. The duration of the self timer can be adjusted in custom function c3. Be careful that you don’t select the self timer with remote selection. This selection will only start the self timer if you use the ML-L3 release.

MJandJBlover

how do you put self timer on?
