Well it breaks the connection, in the sense that the remote file pane will now be connected to the new site, but what’s queued in the lowest pane goes on by itself.

Most people are confused by that “break current connection?” warning. I found that out just by accident… since I never have time to read manuals ;-)

I used “ZD soft screen recorder”

think I recorded this after the thread on MSG,

Ahh so clicking yes to “break the current connection” does not break the current connection then > filezilla does just the same as coreftp and lets you queue to each site in turn. I still don’t call clicking to connect to a site, waiting for the connection, dragging files in and then clicking to connect to the next site and repeating for every agency until you have all the images in a queue “automation”, sure that only takes a couple of mins…

I couldn’t type all. The comment boxes are limited. The point is you don’t need to pay for SmartFTP nor iSyndica since FZ does it all. The only advantage of iSyndica is when you’re on limited transfer quantity or very low bandwidth.

If you have your own site/server, you can install an FXP server there, and you will have your own iSyndica.

Maybe I shud make a vid as reply here. What type of screen capture prog did you use?

Yes out of the box, and that for a very long time. I think you’re on the Microstockgroup too, and when the issue came up (more than a year ago) I was so surprised that almost nobody knew that. I gave step by step instructions then.

The trick basically is that when you connected to site A and you dragged your files into the remote server window and they start transferring, you can immediately (by the site manager) go to site B. FZ will ask you if you want to disconnect, and just say yes.

Out of the box? I did go looking for a plugin at the time but found noting (seem to remember something about the version I had (2 or 3) being a ‘rewite’ and the previous one having more features???).

haven’t used FTP for microstock since isyndica came along. I guess this video is now a little out of date

Err… Filezilla can do queuing on different sites too.
