Many photographs of a single genre grouped together as a collection are known as photography galleries. It is also often termed as simply a photo gallery. A gallery usually works as a group of photographs which are similar in context, are of the same model such as a person or a product, revolving around a common subject or theme, or just relevant to each other in some unique way.

They have their portfolios which feature their work through photography galleries. As a consumer of photography services, one must make sure one goes through these galleries before hiring them for events. The concept of hard copy photo galleries is different from online photo galleries in that the latter have made it very easy and convenient for photographers as well as consumers. Especially with the entry of digital photography today, services and access have both become extremely smooth. And the generation and preservation of photo galleries becomes much more flexible and efficient because of the same.
